Senior Controls/Electrical Engineer | Colborne Corporation | Lake Forest, IL
Responsible, as a Senior Controls/Electrical Engineer, for
design concepts, calculations, schedules, design review, completion of detailed
design documentation, program PLC and HMI controls and testing,
resulting in customer project acceptance; provide on-site technical assistance in
conjunction with the Service Department.
Duties:
- Develop concepts to solve complex customer system requirements.
- Meet with Project Team and prepare electrical requirements document.
- Create Electrical BOM, assist in specifying of drive and sensor components.1 Design and Document Electrical Panels and write PLC code.
- Support Manufacturing to get equipment working to spec.
- Interpret blueprints and technical concepts.
- Create/modify/update all electrical and mechanical drawings from sketches, markups, and verbal instructions.
- Perform engineering change documents and drawing revisions.
- Insure drawings accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.
- Assist at start up of system with project installation team.
- Attain various training seminars to better hone relevant skills.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Colborne/Foodbotics Electrical Specification/Standards.
